Shooter suspect arrested, no injuries, at Columbus, Ohio school: police

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Reuters) - Police said they arrested a suspect and recovered a gun on Friday after a shooter was reported at a Columbus, Ohio, school. No injuries were reported.

"All students are accounted for," the city's police department reported on Facebook. "The school is being searched. (One) suspect was arrested, the gun taken, no injuries reported."

School officials said they had placed Columbus Scioto 6-12 school on lockdown during the incident which lasted less than 30 minutes.
