(Reuters) - An armed suspect in a standoff with police at a rental car area at Orlando International Airport on Tuesday has been "contained" and no shots were fired, Orlando police said on Tuesday.
"There is no active shooter. No shots fired. Suspect is contained. Will post updates as we receive them," the Orlando Police Department said on its Twitter feed, without providing additional information.
There were no reports of any injuries in the incident, which occurred at one of the state's busiest airports, local media reports said.
Live video showed dozens of police vehicles on the scene.
The airport serves about 42.6 million passengers a year and 35 commercial airlines have operations at the facility, according to the airport's website.
