NEW YORK (AP) — Amtrak says service is returning in New York and Connecticut following a freight train derailment in the Bronx.
Authorities say several freight cars went off the tracks at around 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The Fire Department of New York says no injuries were reported.
Amtrak Acela Express and Northeast Regional services were temporarily suspended between New York City and New Rochelle (roh-SHEHL'), New York.
Passengers were told there could still be some residual delays Wednesday afternoon.
