SELKIRK, N.Y. (AP) — Eleven freight cars are back on the track after they derailed over the weekend in an upstate New York rail yard.

CSX spokesman Robert Doolittle tells The Times Union of Albany ( ) on Sunday that no injuries, leaks or spills were reported after a New Jersey-bound train sideswiped cars that were adjacent to the track around 7 p.m. Saturday in Selkirk, just south of Albany.

Officials say three of the derailed cars were carrying shipping containers on the train coming through and the other eight cars weren't moving. Five of the cars were empty box cars and the others were an empty tanker, a flat car carrying lumber and a tanker filled with a chemical used as a pigment in paint, sunscreen and cosmetics.

The cause of the incident is under investigation.
