EAST HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — State police say a six-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 in Connecticut that included at least one tractor trailer has left one person dead.
Connecticut State Police say the crash happened at about 11:15 a.m. Saturday in East Haven.
Police say at least two people were extricated from their vehicles.
Police confirmed Saturday afternoon that one person has died. Several others were taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials say the highway's left lane has been reopened and they are working to clear the area.
