DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — The Florida Highway Patrol has closed Interstate 95 in both directors near Daytona Beach because of low visibility due to a brush fire.
Troopers said in a news release that traffic is being detoured in the area on Tuesday morning.
The same stretch of road also was closed on Monday because of smoke from the fire.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal (http://bit.ly/28OwOWW ) reports the fire was thought to have been sparked by a lightning strike on Sunday near mile marker 258.
Troopers didn't say how long they expect the road to be closed.
