DETROIT (AP) — Police say three young men are dead following a shooting at a suspected drug house in Detroit.
Assistant Police Chief Steve Dolunt says neighbors reported hearing shots early Monday and officers found one dead outside the home on the city's west side and two dead inside.
Dolunt tells reporters that the home was known as a location for narcotics activity and was raided in April and May after complaints from neighbors.
Police are investigating. They have not released the names of those who died, but Dolunt says that they appeared to be in their late teens or early 20s.
A woman tells The Detroit News her 25-year-old son was among the dead, saying he rented the home and got caught in the middle of a neighborhood conflict.
