MILWAUKEE (AP) — In a May 16 about a 9-year-old girl struck earlier this month by a bullet fired from outside her home, The Associated Press, based on information from the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office, reported that Za'layia Jenkins was pronounced dead on May 16. Police say the girl was declared brain-dead, and her family says she remains on life support.
