NEW YORK (AP) — Authorities in New York City are looking for a man who they say offered a boy up for sex to a passerby in Central Park.
The NYPD says it happened just before midnight Thursday. Police say a 50-year-old man was approached by another man in the park who asked if he wanted to perform sexual acts with the boy for $300.
The boy appeared to be 11 years old.
The passerby, who police said was from California, declined and called police.
The boy and the other man were gone by the time officers responded.
