In this photo by Channi Anand, a laborer arranges raw bricks at a kiln on the outskirts of Jammu, India. Brick-making is an unorganized industry that employs many Indians, generally in rural and semi-urban areas. The laborers usually work for 12 to 14 hours a day earning 200 rupees ($2.50) per day.
