LAS VEGAS (AP) — More than 20 people have been hurt after a bus and a pickup truck collided in Las Vegas.

Authorities say the crash happened just before 7 a.m. Sunday.

They say 22 people were injured, including the pickup driver and the four passengers in her truck.

According to police, the driver suffered internal bleeding and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

She was not wearing a seat belt.

Police say the injuries among the others are mostly minor and include a broken arm and broken leg.

Police believe the driver of the pickup ran a red light, broadsiding the bus near McLeod Street and Sahara Avenue.

The intersection is closed while police investigate the scene.
