MOUNT MORRIS, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say a head-on crash in western New York has left a 67-year-old woman dead and injured 13 people, most of them Chinese tourists.

Livingston County sheriff's deputies say a 26-year-old New York City man was driving a passenger van carrying a dozen people Monday morning when the vehicle crossed the center line in Mount Morris and hit a car driven by Susan Migliore (mih-glee-OR'-ee) of nearby Nunda (NUHN'-day).

Migliore's car was also hit by a sport utility vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The van's driver and 12 tourists from China were taken to the University of Rochester Medical Center. Officials say injured are adults ranging in age from 49 to 71. Four were released and nine remain in the hospital.

Charges haven't been filed.

The crash remains under investigation.
