President Barack Obama and his family are back in the town of Kailua after spending the afternoon snorkeling at a nature preserve.
The presidential motorcade passed by Sandy Beach, one of Obama's favorite bodysurfing spots, on the way back from Hanauma Bay.
The first family and friends had the white sands and aquamarine waters of the bay to themselves because the park is closed to the public on Tuesdays.
The nature preserve is a popular spot for snorkeling.
The Obamas are staying at a rented vacation home in the town of Kailua outside Honolulu.
