LOS ANGELES (AP) — The bodies of two young women have been found in a Los Angeles nature park, and investigators are trying to determine how they died.
Police say a woman walking a dog discovered the bodies Wednesday afternoon at Ernest E. Debs Regional Park in Montecito Heights. The bodies, which were clothed, were found along a brushy hillside near a hiking trail.
It wasn't immediately clear how long they had been there.
Homicide detectives were sent to the scene.
The nearly 300-acre park and nature preserve is northeast of downtown.
