BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (AP) — A financial adviser who appeared as a contestant on the reality TV dating show "Millionaire Matchmaker" has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence in Beverly Hills — the second guest from the show to be accused of abuse this month.
Police Lt. Lincoln Hoshino said Wednesday that 31-year-old John Bonavia was arrested Sept. 12 after police responded to a home and found a woman with injuries to her face and upper body.
Hoshino says officers had to kick open the front door to reach the victim.
Bonavia is being held without bail and faces charges including domestic violence with great bodily injury. Hoshino didn't know if he has a lawyer who could comment on the allegations.
Another guest on the Bravo show, Michael Bernback, was recently charged with eight felonies including rape and drug possession.
