NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — In a story Sept. 15 and some versions of stories on Sept. 11 and Sept. 17, The Associated Press reported that federal prosecutors accused Sen. Bob Menendez of accepting cash from a Florida doctor in exchange for political influence. Menendez is charged with accepting monetary contributions to a legal defense fund and to entities that prosecutors say benefited Menendez's 2012 Senate campaign.
