OSKALOOSA, Iowa (AP) — Services have been scheduled for Tyler Sash, the former New York Giants and Iowa safety who died suddenly at age 27.
Sash's body was found Tuesday in his Oskaloosa, Iowa, home, about 3 1/2 years after he won a Super Bowl during his rookie season with the Giants. The cause and manner of his death are being investigated.
The University of Iowa says visitation will be held Thursday at Fellowship Bible Church in Oskaloosa. A memorial service is set for Friday at the Oskaloosa Community Stadium at the Lacey Complex in Oskaloosa. A private family burial will follow.
