POWDER SPRINGS, Ga. (AP) — Police in the Atlanta area say they've made an arrest in the deaths of a young couple found shot in their car, but they're not releasing the suspect's name or other details.
Police say 24-year-old Anthony Costner and 22-year-old Catherine Costner of Lithia Springs were found shot in their car early Thursday morning.
Authorities say their 3-year-old daughter was also in the car, uninjured. She was released to relatives.
Deputy Chief of Police Matt Boyd has said the shooting was not random. WSB-TV (http://bit.ly/1HDWjlN ) reports that police said in a statement they're not releasing circumstances surrounding the arrest "due to the integrity of the investigation."
Officers found Anthony Costner dead in the car with multiple gunshot wounds. His wife had at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at a hospital.
