ROHNERT PARK, Calif. (AP) — City officials are investigating an incident where an officer is seen on video drawing his gun on a man who wasn't accused of committing a crime.
KGO reports (http://abc7ne.ws/1hjAwur ) Wednesday that the officer happened by the man's house and the two argued after the man filmed the officer.
Rohnert Park City Manager Darrin Jenkins says the city will review protocols to determine if they were followed.
The video shows the unnamed officer sitting in front of the man's home in his cruiser.
Out of the cruiser, the officer, gun drawn, told the man to take his hand from his pocket.
The man told the officer to put down the gun. The man complied and emptied his pockets. The officer then told the man to put the video on YouTube. No arrests were made. The officer is not on leave.
