DETROIT (AP) — A Detroit man charged with killing his estranged wife has been ordered to trial after a judge heard testimony from a key witness in the case.
Alicia Fox's body was found last June but her two children remain missing.
A judge found probable cause Tuesday to send Erin Justice to trial for first-degree murder and other charges. Tim Jones, who has pleaded guilty to being an accessory, testified against Justice and said he helped move the body and got rid of evidence.
Jones says the children, ages 6 years old and 8 months old, were alive when he last saw them.
The case had been delayed for months while Justice's mental health was being evaluated. He was found competent to face charges.
