PORT RICHEY, Fla. (AP) — Kevin and Brady Pimentel would have been celebrating their birthdays. Instead, their family held a joint funeral for the young brothers as authorities continue to investigate their deaths.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office says 12-year-old Kevin shot and killed his 6-year-old brother Brady and turned the gun on himself after an argument last week at their Hudson mobile home. Brady would have turned 7 on Friday and Kevin's 13th birthday would have been this past Monday.
Authorities say Kevin also shot and wounded his 16-year-old brother. The Tampa Bay Times reports (http://bit.ly/1Hm59Xg) that Trevor Pimentel attended his brothers' funeral Wednesday in a wheelchair, along with his mother and about 400 other mourners.
Authorities say the boys' mother was working at the time of the shooting.
