Construction workers in Bangkok clambered about on scaffolding to renovate a Buddhist temple, while in India farmers raised their hands during a protest against a government proposal to relax rules for acquiring land for infrastructure projects.

Seoul was shrouded in thick haze caused by yellow dust, prompting the city government to issue a dust warning and urging people to stay indoors. Later in the week, South Korean flags were hung from trees to mark the anniversary of a 1919 uprising against Japanese colonial rule.

Models in Jakarta showed off the latest collections during Indonesia Fashion Week 2015, while tourists in disputed Kashmir glided across Dal Lake in a traditional wooden boat beneath looming craggy mountains dusted with snow.
