CENTENNIAL, Colo. (AP) — Sixty-two more potential jurors have been released during the fourth day of jury selection in the Colorado theater shooting case.
Judge Carlos A. Samour Jr. on Friday dismissed 56 people because of their answers to a screening questionnaire. He didn't give specifics.
Six others were released for a variety of reasons, including health issues, a dying family member and language problems.
An unprecedented 9,000 possible jurors were summoned in the case. At least 180 have been dismissed.
The jury will hear the case against James Holmes, who's charged with killing 12 people and injuring 70 others in the July 2012 assault at a Denver-area theater.
He pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
