BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — A school bus fishtailed on a snowy New York street, pinning a pregnant woman against her vehicle as she tried to belt in her 3-year-old son.
WIVB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1vYiMsH ) that Aleasha Timineri was putting her son into her SUV on Thursday morning in Buffalo when the driver of the school bus stopped to talk to her.
When the bus pulled away, its rear wheels spun out on the narrow, snow-covered street. The rear of the bus swung into Timineri, pinning her left arm to the SUV's rear passenger-side door.
A surveillance video on her father's house shows relatives rushing to her aid.
Timineri is eight months pregnant and recovering from her injuries. She is expected to be released from a hospital Friday.
