EL MIRAGE, Ariz. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the fall of a teenage boy from a Ferris wheel in suburban Phoenix.
Police say the boy was at the El Mirage Fall Festival on Saturday night and fell between 15 and 30 feet from the ride.
The boy, who is believed to be between 12 and 14 years old, was airlifted to Phoenix Children's Hospital.
His condition is not known but he was conscious when emergency responders transported him.
It was the final day of the two-day carnival at Gateway Park.
