EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — A man accused of shooting at police stations and officers in three Washington state cities has been charged with attempted murder, assault and drive-by shooting.
Hans Hansen of Granite Falls pleaded not guilty Thursday and is being held without bail in the Snohomish County Jail.
The Daily Herald reported (http://bit.ly/1AzfNur ) that court papers say the 43-year-old Hansen was suicidal on Oct. 15 and planned to anger as many officers as he could until someone shot him.
Hansen surrendered after he was shot in the head. The bullet grazed his skull and he was not seriously hurt.
The shootings occurred in Granite Falls, Lake Stevens and Marysville.
