Here's your look at highlights from the weekly AP photo report, a gallery featuring a mix of front-page photography, the odd image you might have missed and lasting moments our editors think you should see.

This week's collection includes revelers covered in colored corn starch at a Holi festival in Spanish Fork, Utah; a boy looking through a small bullet proof window inside an armored police vehicle after an operation to occupy part of the Mare slum complex in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; a woman visiting the Flower Fields in Carlsbad, Calif.; and Medal of Honor recipient Sgt. 1st Class Leroy Petry standing with his prosthetic hand over his heart during the "Pledge of Allegiance" at the Capitol in Olympia, Wash.

This gallery contains photos published March 27-April 3, 2014.
