HONOLULU (AP) — How President Barack Obama spent the third day of his holiday vacation in Hawaii on Monday:
— HEALTH EXCHANGE ENROLLMENT: White House officials announced that Obama signed up for health coverage through a new insurance exchange for the District of Columbia. The move is symbolic because the president won't use it, but the White House says it's a show of support for the new law and exchanges.
— GYM, GOLF: After a morning workout at Marine Corps Base Hawaii in Kaneohe, Obama hit the links in Lanikai, a beachside neighborhood in Kailua a few miles from his vacation home. On the final hole, Obama hit a 10-foot putt that just stopped short of going in.
— BEACH: After golf, Obama joined his family at a beach outing at the Marine base.
