PEARL RIVER, N.Y. (AP) — The mother of a bride-to-be killed in a suburban New York boat crash is urging the grieving groom to use the wreck as "a source of strength."Carol Stewart-Kosik (KOH'-sihk) spoke Thursday at the funeral of her daughter. The service was held at the church in Pearl River where Lindsey Stewart would have married Brian Bond next week.Stewart-Kosik, standing at the altar, told Bond that her daughter loved him with "every fiber of her being."After speaking, she went to his pew and hugged him.Stewart and Bond were in a boat that smashed into a barge Friday night on the Hudson River. Their best man also was killed. The powerboat's operator faces charges of vehicular manslaughter.
