A glance at the Sandusky child sex abuse trial

KEY DEVELOPMENTS: Jurors reheard testimony from former Penn State assistant Mike McQueary, who had testified he saw Jerry Sandusky in a sex act with a boy in a football team shower in 2001. They also reheard testimony from a family friend who spoke to McQueary that night. Jurors appeared to pay close attention to the portion of McQueary's testimony in which he said he didn't see Sandusky penetrate the boy — just standing behind him and pressing him against a wall.

After 90 minutes of hearing the reread testimony, jurors went back behind closed doors for their second day of deliberations.

ODDS AND ENDS: Sandusky paid close attention to the lawyers rereading the testimony while his wife, Dottie, sat behind him. Three of the couple's children were also in court. That was less than a day after attorneys for one of their siblings, Matt, released a statement saying he'd been a victim of Jerry Sandusky's abuse.

WHAT'S NEXT: Jurors will be sequestered until they can reach a decision. Courthouse workers have been put on notice to prepare for working this weekend, if need be. The jury includes nine people with ties to Penn State.
