Regulators unveil online privacy report

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Regulators on Monday committed to working with industry to develop a "Do Not Track" system and recommended other protections to give consumers more control over their personal data online.

The Federal Trade Commission also called for legislation to strengthen privacy protections for consumers in its long-awaited final report on Internet privacy.
