About $275K recovered from $2.3M Pittsburgh heist

Authorities have recovered about $275,000 left behind by an armored car guard accused of killing his partner in Pittsburgh and absconding with $2.3 million 10 days ago.

The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review ( http://bit.ly/wxc0qk) reports that police on Wednesday found about $250,000 stashed under a car at the Dravosburg home Kenneth Konias shared with his parents. That was a day after $24,000 was found at the grave of a family member.

Konias is wanted in the Feb. 28 killing of his partner, 31-year-old Michael Haines. Haines was found fatally shot in the back of their Garda Cash Logistics truck as it was parked under a bridge.

Police have said they believe Konias is still in the country.

According to court documents, Konias called friends and family after the shooting and admitted the killing.
