PHOENIX (Reuters) - Thirteen people were shot and wounded at a Tempe, Arizona, nightclub late on Friday night during a rap concert, police said.
Tempe Police spokesman Sergeant Steve Carbajal said officers responded to reports of shots fired at the Clubhouse Music Venue at 11:30 p.m. local time.
Carbajal said police had identified 13 shooting victims from the incident. Two are in serious condition at local hospitals.
"Witnesses have reported that after the shooting, two black males wearing dark colored clothing fled the scene on foot," Carbajal said.
"Those individuals have not been located at this time," he added.
Tempe Police Detectives were at the scene investigating what led up to the shooting and working on identifying the suspects.
