A former Marine charged with the murder of six people in Southern California, including four homeless men and a friend's mother and brother, is set to be arraigned.
Orange County prosecutors say 23-year-old Itzcoatl (itz-KWAH'-tuhl) Ocampo will appear in a Santa Ana court on Tuesday morning.
Last week, Ocampo was indicted on six felony counts of murder with special circumstances for multiple murders and lying in wait and sentencing enhancements for use of a knife.
Prosecutors say Ocampo stabbed four homeless men in a series of killings that terrorized Orange County in December and January.
Authorities allege he also killed the relatives of high school classmate Eder Herrera. Prosecutors initially charged Herrera with the murders but released him after obtaining new evidence.
