The following recalls have been announced:

TEA LIGHT CANDLE WARMERS

DETAILS: Holiday-themed tea light candle warmers imported by Nantucket Distributing Co. Inc., of Middleboro, Mass. and retailed by the Christmas Tree Shops, of Union, N.J.; sold exclusively at Christmas Tree Shops from November through December 2011. The holiday-themed tea light candle warmers are in the shapes of snowmen and gingerbread houses. A warming bowl with wax fragrance tablets is suspended above the tea light candle. They are about eight inches tall. The candle warmers were manufactured in China.

WHY: The candle warmers can catch fire because the warming bowl is positioned too close to the tea light candle, posing fire and burn hazards.

INCIDENTS: The firm has received one report of the Snowmen candle warmer catching on fire causing a minor burn injury to a consumer's hand.

HOW MANY: About 5,700.

LIGHTS

DETAILS: Hurricane Style Lights imported by Nantucket Distributing Co. Inc., of Middleboro, Mass. and retailed by Christmas Tree Shops, of Union, N.J.; sold at Christmas Tree Shops from December 2010 through November 2011.The light is a circular lamp with a white metal basket and moveable handle for hanging or carrying at the top. It has a colored glass insert in blue, pink, or green and uses a mini light bulb. The lights were manufactured in China.

WHY: An electrical short circuit can occur in the light's internal wiring and cause smoke, posing a fire hazard.

INCIDENTS: The firm has received one report of the product causing smoke and a burning smell. No injuries or property damage have been reported.

POWER STRIPS

DETAILS: Lush Life power strips imported by the Container Store Inc., of Coppell, Texas; sold at the Container Stores nationwide and on the firm's website http://www.containerstore.com from October through December 2011. The power strips come in three designs of Scroll (black with white scroll), Dot (blue with orange, white and lime green dots and a lime green cord) and Zebra (black and white zebra stripes). They have three-foot power cords and six-outlet power strips. The power strips were manufactured in China.

WHY: The power strips have undersized wiring, and the wiring and plastic strip fail to meet the requirements for fire resistance, posing a fire hazard.

INCIDENTS: None reported.
