Indiana House passes right-to-work law

INDIANAPOLIS (Reuters) - Indiana's Republican-led House of Representatives passed right-to-work legislation on Wednesday, sending the measure on to Governor Mitch Daniels, who has said he will sign it into law.

The anti-union measure, which cleared the state Senate on Monday, allows workers at unionized businesses to opt out of paying union dues.

Indiana would be the 23rd state in the country to adopt a right-to-work law but the first in the nation's industrial heartland.
