NJ's Christie reschedules State of State address

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has rescheduled his State of the State address for Tuesday, one week after postponing it because of the sudden death of a lawmaker at the Statehouse.

Assembly Republican leader Alex DeCroce collapsed just after 11 p.m. Monday as the Legislature was finishing its lame-duck session.

Christie remembered DeCroce, whom he had known for 20 years, the next day instead of giving the annual address.

The speech is now set to be delivered at 3 p.m. on Jan. 17.
