GRAPEVINE, Texas (Reuters) - The bodies of seven people, apparently the victims of a mass shooting, were found by police on Sunday in a Dallas-area apartment, the Dallas Morning News reported on its website.
Police in the town of Grapevine were cited as telling the newspaper that the victims included four women and three men, and that the gunman was among the dead.
Police said they believed all seven had been shot, the newspaper reported.
The bodies were found in a first-floor apartment of a 220-unit apartment complex by police responding to a 911-emergency call, the Morning News reported. It also said police found two weapons at the scene.
Calls to police in Grapevine, which is about 20 miles northwest of downtown Dallas, were not immediately returned.
No details on the circumstances of the shooting were reported.
