2 charged with taped attack on NJ homeless man

A videotaped attack on a homeless man that ended with his assailants wishing him a Merry Christmas has led to criminal charges for two New Jersey shore residents.

As a young man kicks and punches the victim in the head and bloodies his nose, the cameraman eggs on the assault, yelling, "Jump on him! Kick him in the jaw!"

It's unclear when the assault took place. But Wall Township police say they got word of a videotaped assault on Sunday. The video had been posted to YouTube but was unavailable Monday after News12 New Jersey posted it on its website.

Police charged a 20-year-old Lake Como resident and a teenage boy they say recorded the assault. Both face charges of aggravated assault and conspiracy.
