LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Gunshots were fired on Thursday at the building housing the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles, and a suspect was being sought, police said.
The afternoon shooting left no one injured, said Los Angeles police spokeswoman Norma Eisenman.
"It was a shooting at the building," she said.
Police said they are looking for a suspect described as an Asian man about 65 years old with white hair.
A representative from the consulate could not immediately be reached for comment.
