Ga. man rescues blind man from burning home

A chicken plant worker is being credited with saving a 76-year-old blind man from his burning home in Georgia.

Tray Ross was working at the plant when co-workers said the nearby home was on fire. Ross ran to the home, went inside and crawled toward the man as he listened for his desperate screams.

Ross finally grabbed the blind man's ankle. The man grabbed Ross' hand and Ross was able to pick him up and carry him out through the front door.

Both men were treated for smoke inhalation after the Monday morning fire.

The blind man was rescued before firefighters arrived. His name was not immediately available.
