In an Oct. 27 story about revised Kansas regulations for abortion providers, The Associated Press erroneously reported that the rules would allow only physicians to dispense medications to abortion patients and misquoted an attorney for the Center for Reproductive Rights as saying they wouldn't permit physician assistants to hand out medications. The attorney criticized the rules for not allowing medical assistants, as opposed to physician assistants, to do so.
