The stepfather of an 11-year-old New Hampshire girl whose body was pulled from a river in August says he had nothing to do with her disappearance and death.
Wendell Noyes tells WMUR-TV ( http://bit.ly/qHDDhM) he discovered Celina Cass was missing the morning after she was last seen on the family computer July 25. He told the station Monday a door to the family's duplex in West Stewartstown had been left unlocked the night before and someone else was in the apartment after he and Celina's mother went to bed.
In his words: "I had nothing to do with it."
An autopsy failed to pinpoint how Celina died. Toxicology tests are pending.
Noyes initially spoke to reporters about Celina's disappearance but later stopped talking. He's living alone now. He says Celina's mother doesn't want him around.
