Tucson PD arrest man for parking suspicious truck

Tucson police have arrested the driver of an ammunition-filled box truck parked about a mile from the federal courthouse where a hearing was held for the Tucson shooting rampage suspect.

Police arrested 50-year old David J. Mitchell, from the southern Arizona town of Sahuarita (sow-rah-REE'-tuh), for a misdemeanor charge related to a court order violation.

Detectives determined that by being in possession of a truck full of firearms and ammunition, Mitchell was in violation of a court order from an unrelated incident.

The U.S. Marshals Service notified police about the truck, which was legally parked near the courthouse.

Authorities closed some streets and evacuated several downtown buildings, including the bankruptcy court. The bomb squad also was called in as a precaution.

It's not clear whether Mitchell has an attorney.
