Carl Lewis is expected to say what he'll do now that a court has knocked him off the ballot in a New Jersey state Senate race.
The nine-time Olympic gold medalist entered the race as a Democrat in April.
But state election officials said he didn't meet a four-year residency requirement. After a series of court opinions, a federal court agreed in a ruling Thursday.
The move took him off the ballot with less than seven weeks before his election against Republican incumbent Dawn Addiego.
He could still appeal the decision _ though time is running out.
Lewis and his supporters blame Republicans for forcing him out of the race.
He bought homes in the state in 2005 and 2007 but voted in California in 2009.
