KOAT-TV reports ( http://bit.ly/qXswO1) that state Game and Fish officials killed the cub this week following her surprise visit to Record's Hardware Store. It's not clear how it was killed.
A surveillance video caught the 1-year-old cub running through a busy part of town in broad daylight and walking inside the store's main door. The bear bolted out of the store and took refuge in a nearby backyard.
Game and Fish officials says the situation could have turned dangerous, but no injuries were reported.
Game and Fish warden Clint Henson says officials killed the bear after determining the cub's actions were "not good bear behavior."
