Police are in a standoff with an armed suspect disguised as a film character who is holed up inside an Office Depot store in northern California.
Police tell the Oakland Tribune that http://bit.ly/oQ4b9g four employees had been held hostage late Friday but were released unharmed.
Officers responded to the Emeryville store when they received a report shortly before 9:45 p.m. that it had been left open.
They shut down streets in the area and closed off the parking lots that surround the cluster of large stores on the Emeryville-Oakland border.
Police described the suspect as wearing a mask from the action film "V for Vendetta" and armed with a handgun.
There have been no reports of any injuries.
