State Police say nine people have been injured in a collision between a Greyhound bus and a van on Interstate 85 in southern Virginia.
Sgt. Thomas Molnar says in a news release that the accident occurred at 8:20 a.m. Wednesday in the northbound lanes in Dinwiddie County. Three people on the bus and six in the van suffered minor injuries.
The bus was carrying 35 passengers and was traveling from Raleigh, N.C. State police didn't say where the bus was heading.
The right northbound lane has reopened.
No other details were immediately available. The investigation is continuing.
