A 12-year-old Washington state girl who pleaded guilty to cyberstalking a classmate has been sentenced to six months' probation.
The Issaquah girl was sentenced Wednesday in King County Juvenile Court for cyberstalking and computer trespass. She apologized in court and said her 11-year-old target didn't deserve to be treated like that.
KOMO-TV reports the girls had been friends at Issaquah Middle School. But after a falling out, the older girl used the victim's Facebook account to post obscene messages and solicit sex.
The victim's mother says the family is still coping with the repercussions.
