Police say a Kentucky utility worker has shot and killed his supervisor at a Louisville service center before fatally shooting himself.
Police Sgt. Robert Biven said the shooting erupted Tuesday afternoon at a Louisville Gas & Electric service center, but no one else was hurt. He says both men were in their 50s and worked at the center. He declined to give their names or discuss a possible motive.
Biven says investigators recovered a gun at the service center.
Utility spokesman Chip Keeling says relatives of the two men were being notified.
"This is a terrible tragedy," Keeling added.
The service center employees about 50 workers at an industrial park in southeast Louisville, dispatching crews for work at substations and some gas operations.
